Shining Light

Where have you gone, my guiding star?
Without you, I will not go far,
I find myself wondering aimlessly,
Straying from the roads and into the alley,
Stopping by every hell hole,
Accepting whatever I’ve been told.

I cannot see anything in front of me,
Only my past is the things that I see,
And looking at the path I’ve taken,
I feel hurt and I feel forsaken,
I am in the dark, and I am in pain,
So I beg of you, please shine again.

Please shine some grace upon me,
Please shed that light for me to see,
Please, be the beacon that I have lost,
