Love and Hate

There are things that I truly hate,
About myself, my personality,
What can I do? This is my fate,
I can’t change it, I can’t change me.

Bad-mannered, boastful, lazy,
Selfish, self-centered, spendthrift
Desirous, short attention span, greedy,
Evil, do you catch my drift?

But there is only one me,
For that I can safely say,
Even if you don’t like what you see,
I will still love me, even for a day.
